RH57 Luftwaffe M40 single decal tricolor spray camouflaged helmet

Luftwaffe M40 single decal tricolor spray camouflaged helmet, shell stamped ET64, lot number 1037, the former owner's rank and name are painted in white to the inner rear skirt, having steel liner bands, pins all have their washers and the have never been disturbed, there are decades of dust build up between bands and shell, the brown colored leather liner is marked size 57, with original drawstring and brown leather chinstrap which was trimmed at the tip, the helmet was first sprayed in an overall tan color with a subsequent heavy over spray of medium green and with lighter over spray of medium green colors, the outline of the Luftwaffe decal is plainly visible, pins have most of their camouflage paint, there are scratches and abrasions to the finish, especially to the top, overall the camouflage layer is 90%+ intact, super attractive example, USD $3800 SOLD
