Description
Heer M35 single decal reissue rough textured tricolor camouflage sprayed helmet, the rough textured reissue paint obscures shell stampings but believed to be ET60, lot number is unreadable, with unreinforced aluminum liner bands, pins and washers are tightly affixed and there is significant buildup of dust, insect parts and the like between shell and bands, leather liner is complete and stamped size 53, liner has a former owner's initials applied at the rear, with full length original liner string, the leather chinstrap is complete and maker marked, both internal skirt as well as the chinstrap have an overspray of camo paint, externally the shell was overpainted with a layer including sawdust with that being sprayed again in a base tan with dark green and red brown layers, there are a few scuffs to the paint and the left and rear pins are missing a bit of paint, the outline of the Heer decal may be discerned, quite attractive, USD $2500 SOLD
