Luftwaffe M35 double decal olive and brown camouflaged overpaint helmet, shell stamped ET66, lot number 4286, with reinforced aluminum liner bands, having undisturbed pins with their washers, darkened leather liner is undamaged but lacks its string, the chinstrap end was period trimmed, the factory blue grey paint was painted over externally by hand in a deep olive shade, over that was painted several blotches of dark chocolate covered spots, the Luftwaffe eagle and national colors decals are covered and the paint over them is finely cracked, the pins have about half their camouflaged paint, the overall impression is subtle with a darkly uniform appearance, there are many small scratches and chips to the top, camo coverage is about 90%, USD $1400 SOLD
