French Late 19th, Early 20th Century Brass Fire Helmet

Original era manufacture. A very attractive, and highly polished brass helmet with an elevated comb and large front plate with a bursting bomb emblem.I believe this may be for an official within the organization due to the ornate band of oakleaves which can be seen on a band around the base of the helmet. Chinstrap bosses on each side of the helmet, no liner or chinstrap. Very attractive looking and a nice display piece.
