BHB23 Multicolor M16 camouflaged helmet with full liner

Multicolor M16 camouflaged helmet with full liner, shell stamped ET60, with leather liner band and three section leather liner two sections of which have their pads, the leather liner is a bit worn and has scuffing to the edges, some of the liner finger tips are a dry and cracked, the chinstrap swivels have a bit of white paint, the visor has a very small drilled hole and it seems evident that this helmet was at one time attached to a board or wall for display, externally the factory green finish was overpainted in camouflage colors of dark green, red brown and ochre, the angular sections are separated by black painted bars, the entire helmet has been covered with a coat of shellac and some of this finish extends to the inner portions, the coat of shellac has dulled and darkened over time, there are the usual scratches and scuffs but the original camouflage finish covers 95% or more of the helmet, USD $1150 SOLD
