Striking multicolor M16 camouflaged helmet with full liner and chinstrap, shell stamp is indistinct but believed to be size 66, having leather liner bands and complete three section padded liner with each secation having its liner pads, the tip of one 'finger' is absent, former owner's name and unit is inked to one liner pad, complete adjustable black leather chinstrap with two buckles is included, the liner pins are tightly affixed, the factory green paint has numerous small spots of rust internally, externally the base finish was overpainted by hand in distinct dark green, red brown and tan camouflage paints, the sections have hard edges and are not separated with the normal black bars, the overall finish rates 85% or better, there are numerous small chips and scratches but the finish is strong and distinct, much above average example, USD $1800 SOLD
