M16 helmet with unusual subtle camouflaged pattern, interesting variant with camouflage painted colors of ochre, brown and medium green separated by indistinct black bars with softly painted edges, the camouflage layer has an even patina of light wear and there are small spots of deeper wear revealing both base paints and metal, paint coverage is 90% or more, internally the factory green paint shows soling and areas of wear and light rust, the helmet has a metal liner band, each section of the three section leather liner has its pad, the leather is dry in areas and a couple of the fingers are torn, one liner pad has a name penned in ink and the same name appears to be written on the inner skirt of the helmet in pencil, the major part of the leather chinstrap remains but some is in fragments, unique and attractive, USD $1150 SOLD
