Description
Imperial Japanese Navy tropical field cap, for rank of Petty Officer, constructed of olive cotton twill, with chinstrap and bill of the same fabric, interior is well marked with black stampings in three places, there are a pair of ventilation holes per side, having a blue colored twill stripe hand sewn to the lower edges, the woven anchor badge is factory machine straight stitched, this example was actually worn and shows a bit of fading, one brim seam section has been resewn with black thread, USD $385 SOLD
