PMU13 Netted Imperial Japanese Army helmet

Netted Imperial Japanese Army helmet, light olive painted shell has sections of an even lighter shade of paint applied over sections of the shell externally, these sections cover about half the overall surface, paint is worn and chipped with areas of rust to internal and external surfaces, Imperial star is slightly tilted and it too has quite a bit of rust, kanji applied to the rear inner shell in white paint, the brown colored three section leather liner is in good condition and each section has it's pads, liner drawstring is in place, the knotted chis ties are full length and show soiling, rust staining and minor fraying in spots, the olive colored net extends over the helmet's rim and has a few gaps, two toward the helmet's top and another couple at the lower rim, interesting helmet, USD $1600 SOLD
