Italian Fascist M.V.S.N. officer tropical service blouse, for Milizia Volontaria Sicurezza Nazionale, the armed branch of the fascist party, such tunics were worn by Black Shirts Battalions (fighting units), the rank is for a Capomanipolo (1st Leutnant), this model of tunic was mainly used in East Africa 1935/1936 (but sometimes later) and was replaced after by the sahariana model, with Trieste tailor's label, four pocket blouse constructed of green colored cotton, with four pleated patch pockets, open collar and false turn back cuffs, front closure has four large brown plastic buttons, smaller versions of the buttons are used for the pocket flaps, detachable shoulder boards have black wool bases with gilt metallic tops having the fasces emblem, black wool collar patches have smaller versions of the fasces affixed with prongs, lower sleeve ends have rank insignia, hand applied, condition is very clean and there is no damage, USD $570 SOLD
