Awards, Badges and Membership Documents pertaining to an NSKK-Hauptsturmführer and recipient of the Golden NSDAP Honor Badge, subject, Wilhelm Bahr was born 1904 in Lüchow (Niedersachsens) and joined the HJ in 1927, the NSDAP in 1928, the SA in 1931, the NSV in 1935 and the NSKK in 1936, in 1940 he entered service with the Heer: included are three Golden Party Badges, all stamped with subject's party number 88060, the large badge has a screw back attachment with a nut and plate for attachment to the uniform, example shows wear to the surface but the enamel shows no significant damage, the wreath's gilding has worn off to some degree; the first of the two smaller badges exhibits little outward wear beside light contact marks and still has most of its gilt finish, the second is is private purchase example lacking the outer white rim to the enamel disk, the base of its pin is embossed Joseph Fuess, München, it is in similar condition to its counterpart but has more gilding loss to the border, the matching award document presented to NSDAP Member # 88060 is dated 1 February 1934 and is signed by the Reichsschatzmeister of the NSDAP, document has been folded and shows some age; also included is a Bronze SA Sports Badge with matching miniature stickpin and wooden case with political eagle applied to the lid and red velvet inserts, further included is an RZM Marked Golden HJ Badge in gilded bronze red, white and pebbled red enamels, it is numbered 97419 and marked RZM M1/78, the catch of the badge has either broken off or was deliberately removed to ease attachment and removal, the accompanying HJ award document for the HJ Ehrenzeichen has the facsimile signature of Reichsjugendführer Baldur von Schirach; additionally included is a two place medal bar with SA Long Service Awards for 10 and 15 Years, both awards show minimal wear or age and are mounted with a blue felt backing, the documents for both awards are attached to card stock, are dated 30 January 1942 and are signed by and have the stamps of the Kreisleiter; subject's NSKK membership with photo wearing brown shirt, GPB and party armband as we all as NSV membership book with photo in civilian clothes are included; also included is the 29 page Ahnentafel with Geburtsurkunde including subjects birth and marriage certificates, four generations of family records, supporting documents, the pages are either typewritten or completed in precise German script and almost all pages are officially stamped; finally there are four photographs, one of subject in NSKK uniform with awards mounted to black card, two photos of flags being raised and a photo of subject in Heer administrative officer uniform wearing awards, the listing photos only provide a partial view of the paper contents, very interesting, USD $6750 SOLD
