Early quality SS chained dagger with hanger, nickel silver fittings, ebony grip has a few minor cracks: above the inlaid enameled SS rune button (which has a minor ding to the left upper rune) and along the lower grip front and back where it meets the lower crossguard and to the upper grip back at crossguard, in addition, there are a few dings to the upper grip reverse, finally there are chips to the lower grip front that have blackened (or been blackened), inlaid national emblem with traces of verdigris, original scabbard finish shows numerous light scratches but rates at 90% plus, scabbard fittings retain their screws, scabbard tip is with a few slight dents to the tip, unmarked blade with moderate in out marks and surface spotting, the motto displays minor bubbling to the lettering, the six chain links are age darkened but otherwise undamaged, the upper link chain link with SS rune is marked on the reverse with an overlapping SS runic symbol, dagger rests firmly into scabbard, sound black leather hanger is unmarked, inquire at info@virtualgrenadier.com for additional information and images, USD $8500 SOLD
