US WWI M1912 Mounted .45 1911 Pistol Holster, Private Purchase

Original era manufacture. Private purchase, dark brown leather holster with a steel swivel point, brass M1910 belt hook, which is fitted to a matching color leather belt slide. The leather body is sound and pliable with a nice luster to the leather finish. Flattened a bit from storage, light surface scuffing as shown. About three inches of the body seam has opened up, likely from someone trying to fit too large of a pistol into the holster. The leather did not tear, only the thread.
