He was awarded the Territorial efficiency medal in army order 32 of 1932 & the efficiency medal with territorial suspender in army order 84 of 1940. During WW2 he served as a C.S.MJR with both the 6th H.L.I & the A&S.Highrs but was discharged 16-7-42. He applied for the issue of his WW2 campaign medal in February 1949 whilst living at 69 Durham Street, Glasgow.GVF or better & complete with MIC & medal roll details.
