Vintage 1930s / 1940s maroon purple rayon gown with beaded bird and flower design.MEASUREMENTS (approximate):Bust- 37'Waist- 30'Hips- 38'Length- 53 1/2'Absolutely gorgeous dress! Silver beaded bird and flowers on the shoulder area and beading on the sleeves. Some of the beads on the sleeves are missing, but the beading on the bird and flower seems to be all there and not loose. Nice full skirt.Unfortunately, this beauty does have some condition issues. There is some overall fading and discoloration. Small stain specks here and there. A couple small holes. Some pulls in the material. A few popped seams. Two holes are the skirt have been patched with a black material (like an iron-on patch?).NOTE:Some of the close-up photos make it look more pink than it is. It is a maroon purple color. I uploaded a color swatch that matched the best on my screen; although it might be slightly darker, depending on your screen settings.
