Vintage 1940s red skirt suit outfit.MEASUREMENTS (approximate):JACKET:Bust- 35'Waist- 29'Length- 23 1/2'Sleeve(shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 24'SKIRT:Waist- 25 3/4' (verytight 26')Hips- 36'Length- 25 1/4'Nice bright red color. Looks to be handmade. Wooden buttons (some of the paint has chipped off). I am not sure the material - it feels a bit softer than standard wool; possibly a blend? The jacket is lined. The skirt has an interesting early plastic red Talon zipper.AS-IS with flaws.It has some staining and discoloration throughout. No attempt has been made to launder it. Under the arms, there is staining. On the shoulders and down the sleeves there is some dark discoloration (probably from improper storage). The discoloration was a bit hard to photograph, but it is there. Small hole by the bottom button. Several tiny pinprick holes. The inside lining is stained (especially under the arms) and has some loose stitching. Skirt waist band has some staining.
