Vintage 1940s WWII V for victory pin with music notes from Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. During the war, it was referred to as the 'Victory Symphony' since V is the Roman numeral for 5. The opening phrase of 'dit-dit-dit-dah' was also used as the letter V in Morse code. The BBC would often preface broadcasts to SOE with those four notes.This is the small size version, please see photos for size. Price is for one pin and we have a few available. All are in good condition with light wear.
