WWII Japanese M32 Summer Weight Tankers Helmet-This is a very good condition example of the summer weight variation of the Japanese WWII tanker helmet. It is a large size. This M32 protective tanker's helmet has a brown cotton exterior with a brown leather leather star attached to the front. There is some discoloration and wear to the exterior. The interior is lined with a white cheesecloth. There are black faux leather pads on the front and rear, and a light brown leather suspension. The cheesecloth lining is marked with manufacturer's mark, date stamp, and various other Kanji markings. One of these is clearly昭18 or Showa 18, for the Western year 1942. There are brown leather 'Y' straps with dual ring buckles. Scarce and desirable!
