Second Model SS Fez-This example is produced in green wool that is in good condition, with minor wear and fading. The fez was worn by certain ethnic groups assisting the SS in the war effort. The green versions were worn in combat. The pig's tail is green wool and the black rayon tassels are present. The tassels are not stitched and stitched down to the cap. The insignia has been removed from this cap but you can very clearly see where each piece once resided. The unlined interior is in great condition with the black leather sweatband present and excellent aside from some minor wear. This is a size 58. Sound overall!
