WWII German Waffen SS Model 1943 Field Cap-This is a desirable 'one-button' example. It is produced in field grey wool that has minor wear, fading and discoloration from use. As mentioned, the side flaps terminate at the front with a single, brown bakelite button. The bill has a few of the typical folds. There is a machine woven tropical Totenkopf that is hand applied. The interior is fully lined in field grey cotton. There is minor wear and discoloration from use. It is approximately a size 54. Very nice!
