Description

A dry nice clean example. The bayonet dated 6/43 and factory mark 'OA' for the Orange manufacture factory. Working locking stud. Original bluing to the blade, cross guard and pommel, orignal wooden grips. The scabbard fitted with a 1941 dated pattern 1915 frog in very good condition with 'D arrow D' ordnance stamp. A Regimental number letter stamped in the belt loop on the front and also heavily scratching into the reverse. This is traced to a to a SGT of the 2/7 Field Company Engineers.Comes with its matching 'Mangrovite' 1943 dated scabbard.
