French WWI Era, Fire Helmet Inkwell

Original period manufacture. Commercially produced inkwell of brass and silver color alloy. Well made with a separate comb, chinstrap and helmet plate. The small ceramic ink reservoir is present. Measures 3.5 inches in length. Normal age and wear.
