Description

Original era manufacture. Original medal, awarded to Pte James Sanderson 79th Highlanders, who later served with the 93rd Highlanders during the Indian Mutiny, wounded there on the 16th of November 1857. The medal comes with several pages of research which show he also received an Indian General Service medal with Umbeyla clasp and the Turkish Crimea medal. The ribbons shown represent the missing medals and are included.
