Vintage original WWII US Navy WAVES women's officer's white uniform (jacket and skirt).MEASUREMENTS (approximate):JACKET:Bust- 35'Waist- 28 1/2'Length- 22'Sleeve(shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 22 1/2'SKIRT:Waist- 26'Hips- 34'Length- 25'American Campaign medal and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign medal. Women's Naval Reserve labels. The jacket and skirt are made from different materials. These came together, but the first names on the labels are different. The jacket is named to Mary L. Ryan and the skirt is named to Elizabeth Ryan. The buttons are held in by cotter pins; an extra hole was added for the bottom button to let it out a bit.CONDITION:OK with some flaws. The sleeve braids have fraying. General light staining / discoloration (you can see it on the photo with the ribbon bars - the shoulder area is a little grayer than under the collar). Several brown spots and blue and black smudges on both the jacket and skirt. The skirt has some yellow-ish discoloration. Some pulling on the seams and loose stitches. A few tiny pinprick holes. It hasnotbeen laundered; I am unsure if stains would come out.
