Description

1897 Pattern Infantry Sword with ray skin grip, typical basket type guard displaying King Edward VII cypher. Long straight blade with a three-quarter fuller on both sides. Brown leather field scabbard with part frog attached.A very good quality example that comes completely untouched and quite heavily patinated, no rusting evident so it should clean up very nicely if desired. No rust or staining to the blade, this has the same dark patina. Scabbard in very good order with just some light scuffing. It measures 41 inches long.Shipping to UK mainland only via courier priced at £13.95
