French WWI 75 Trench Art Shell, Marne, British Officer

Original era manufacture. A nicely inscribed trench art shell displaying a full-length view of a British Army officer, with a date of 1917 below, the seven was made upside-down. On the reverse is the word 'Marne'. Dark brass patina finish, stands 11.5 inches in height.
