Festival of Britain 1951 souvenir pin badge by Stratton's

A good original souvenir badge from the 'Festival of Britain 1951 national exhibition'; large gilt brass example bearing the emblem designed by 'Abram Games' which depicts the profile of Britannia's head with crested helmet on the north point of a four-pointed compass rose, inlaid with enamel in the traditional red, white and blue colours of the Union Flag; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'STRATTON'S MADE IN ENGLAND'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, minor surface scratches, enamel intact.Height approx 39mm.
