A good original full sized Crowned bust in Coronation robes 'King George V Special Constabulary Long Service bronze medal' the reverse inscribed in relief 'For Faithful Service in the Special Constabulary', complete with extra long piece of original silk ribbon, the rim impressed 'GROUP LDR. ARTHUR W. KENNION'. Very good condition.Diameter approx 36mm.Believed to be Arthur William Kennion Born in 1866 and in 1939 was living at Widness, Lancashire. He died in 1954.The 'Special Constabulary Long Service medal' was Instituted 30th August 1919.
