Japanese WWII National Flag-This is a great example of Hinomaru National Flag, also known by many as the 'meatball' flag. This one is very nice. It is quite clean and is a good display size. It measures approx. 31' (79cm) wide by 26' (66cm) tall. This is produced in an off-white soft bunting with a red sun or 'meatball' printed in the center, this produces a mirror image on the reverse. This has one line of kanji in black ink written across the top. This ink has bled through and is visible on the reverse. This flag has brown leather reinforced corners with two white silk ties. This flag shows some very slight staining, but this is not a huge distraction. Please check photos just in case. This is a nice looking flag. We have not translated the kanji so hesitate to call this a good luck flag.It has a great look to it!
