Japanese WWII Army Rising Sun Flag-This is a gorgeous flag. Not only is it very clean, but the colors are also still vivid, including the white. The white doesn't have a spot of age toning to it. This is made of lightweight linen-like bunting.This gorgeous red and white flag measures approximately 50 inches (127cm) long x 40 inches (101.6cm) wide. There is a thin jute like lanyard that runs through the reinforced hoist end. One end is in a small loop.Except for one spot of discoloration, this is choice. The sun is centered on this example, so this flag would have been used by the Japanese army. Remember if the sun is positioned toward the hoist end, it's a navy flag. If the sun is centered, it's for the army. This is a near excellent example, in a rare size.
