Very scarce heavy white metal officers cross-belt plate with three screw bolts to the reverse worn by the 2nd.Battalion Monmouthshire Rifle Volunteers in the late1860's. The number,'36' to the centre of a curled bugle horn backed by a pair of crossed rifles above the furled motto scroll, ' Gwell Angau Na Gwarth' surmounted by the Victorian crown within a spray of laurel.
