RMS Mauretania Cunard White Star Shipping Line Ships Wheel Badge

A scarce original circa 1934 to 1935 period 'R.M.S. Mauretania gilt and enamel souvenir pin brooch', the Cunard and White Star Shipping Line Company (official merger 10 May 1934) red enamel flags mounted to the centre of a white ships wheel. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.Size approx 27mm.RMS Mauretania was launched 1906, during the First World War she was converted to a troopship and a hospital ship. She was scrapped in 1935.
