Veteran Bring Back Japanese WWII Army Canteen w/Strap-The canteen is produced in aluminum with a brown finish that shows some wear and tear from general use but is mostly intact. There is a moderate scrape to the lower right front of the canteen. The canteen obverse is named with kanji in thick white paint. The cork stopper is present with the aluminum cap retained by a light beige cloth strap. The carrying strap is tan canvas and in very good condition. It does show some staining (sweat?)There are multiple ink stamps on the strap, but they are un-readable. It is interesting that the front part of the canteen harness has kanji embroidered into the front. This canteen was brought home by a US veteran, and we will supply the name of the soldier to the buyer. Good condition overall!
