Description

A totally untouched Army Double Decal M35 helmet named to a 'Hauptmann Annan '( Captain ).By ET from the known 1939 lot number batch . A textbook helmet with ET decals . The Eagle has the dimple on the claw and the dark lines & upper wing sweep , that was unique to this 2nd generation of ET eagles .The decal is 85 % present with a couple of minor scuffs. There is a super patina and gentle wrinkle with deep toning . The tri colour is again around 85% present with a deep ivory tone and natural ageing. The ET factory specific paint is untouched and uncleaned. To the interior the liner shows service wear & is still supple . The correct reinforced Alloy band has ,on careful examination, a 1939 date . All pins are tight and uninterfered with with no kinks .To the rear skirt is a very well applied Name and Hauptmann ( Captain ) rank . The lot number of 4572 shows with several entries as DD ET,M35 Army in the Brian Ice Lot Number book . Helmets of this rarity and totally untouched sleepy quality are so rare to still find !
