Description

You are bidding on an EXCELLENT set of WW2 Imperial Japanese Army 6Γ—24 Field Binoculars! This style was specifically used by Army personnel for observation, recognition, and reconnaissance purposes! These binoculars were carried by most member of the military, and featured uncoated lenses (as with most Japanese binoculars).Made of aluminum, brass, and steel by Kaikosha, these 6Γ—24 power binoculars are in VERY NICE used condition! The lens bodies retain about 95% of their original black finish, as well as the end piece fittings. Eye sockets are present, however one of the cup has a large chip (see photo). Focus adjustment still functions on both eye pieces! Both optics are AMAZINGLY clear, with no spotting or haziness. The left side body is well marked with the impressed designation,'Kaikosha'; and the right side is marked with an Army Star; Chrysanthemum; and serial number, '52008'.Some very slightwear due to the age, but otherwise SUPERB! The original strap is also included.Would make a SUPERB addition to any Japanese or optics collection!Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
