WW2 German Luftwaffe Sporn – TAIL GEAR UPLOCK ASSEMBLY – Me109 F-G – VERY RARE!

You are bidding on a SUPERB and AIRWORTHY example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Aircraft Spornhalterung (Tail Gear Uplock Assembly), 109.100-19!This type was ONLY used on all Me109 E thru G series aircraft!This support assembly was located at the rear of the fuselage.It locked the tail gear in the downward / extended position.Made of aluminum and steel, this Tail Gear Main Uplock is in VERY NICE condition! This was restored by using both original, and new-made airworthy parts, and has only someslight wear and marks from storage.I have shown its location in the last photos.Would make an PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
