WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' being a non-maker-marked example as executed in 'Buntmetall' (ie. 'Tombak') as was (I deem) produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'GWL' (ie. 'Gebr. Wegerhoff')

This is an attractive - albeit moderately used- ie. worn but still very detailed and pronounced! - example of a so-called: WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' (or: destroyers'-war-badge) being a non-maker-marked- (and actually 'high-quality'-produced!) example that is executed in multi-coloured, so-called: 'Buntmetall' and that comes in overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge retains a fair bit of its golden- (ie. silver-) toned finish and is executed in so-called: 'Buntmetall' (ie. 'Tombak'): it comes of course mounted onto its unaltered- and functional (flute-shaped and neatly horizontally-mounted) pin and/or catch. The with certainty 'high-quality'-produced badge (that also retains its often-missing so-called: 'Gegenhaken') is totally void of a makers'-designation: it has, moreover, been cleaned ie. polished and is just a tiny bit dusty ie. dirty as recently found (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' as produced by the 'GWL'- (ie. 'Gebrüder Wegerhoff'-) are not that often appearing on todays market and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. I deem that this moderately worn but still nicely preserved example is accordingly priced!
