Bringback Reichskriegsflagge 124 x 80

A true battle veteran War Flag that is in used and worn condition. It is complete but has several holes and patches of staining.It has definitely seen action and all kinds of inclement weather going by the appearance.The cotton/linen Flag is of the desirable display size and measures 124cm x 80cm.The halyard end corners have the usual reinforcing and the end of the flag has the multiple sewn lines to help prevent damage by the wind.Recently discovered in a family loft the flag was a bringback by a member of the KSLI Regiment who 'acquired' it in Flensburg at the end of the war. The KSLI took the surrender of 'The Last Führer' Dönitz and the rump German Government at Flensburg in May 1945
