German WWII Signed Photo of Army General Wolf Ewert a Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross Winner-Ewert was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht during the war. He was awarded the medal for leadership during the war. On April 15, 1945 he was taken prisoner by the United States, from which he was released on July 15, 1947.This photo is a bit smaller, measuring 4 inches 4 inches (10.16cm) tall by 3 inches (7.62 cm) wide.
