Three truly superb mint boxed WW1 Bronze memorial plaques with original boxes & postal envelopes to a father & two sons1) 158008.C.S.MJR.ERNEST.WOODS. 87/CAN.INFKilled in action in France & Flanders 15-8-1917 & commemorated on the Vimy memorial.2) J-37108.SIGNALMAN.GUY.HAROLD.WOODS.HMS.VINDICTIVE.ROYALNAVYKilled in action onboard HMS Vindictive during the Zeebrugge raid 23-4-1918 age 19. He was one of the men put forward for the VC during the ballot & is buried in Dover St James cemetery.3) 177500.PTE.WILLIAM.ARHUR.WOODS.1st CANADIAN INFANTRYKilled in action France & Flanders 5-9-1916 age 26 & buried in Puchevillers British cemetery.They are the husband & two sons of Mrs.A.A.Woods of 29 Pember road, Kensal Rise, London & all three postal envelopes are addressed to the same lady at the same address.The plaques are EF/MINT & Come complete with CWGC details for all three men & copy service papers for the Royal Navy casualty.
