WW1 1914-15 Trio with the recipients original AB64 army paybook & soldiers small book, postal envelope for the medals & two postcardsTo- 11892.PTE.G.PARKIN.LINC.RGeorge Thomas Parkin was one of the original members of the 8th service battalion of the Lincolnshire Regiment & is listed as being a resident of Grimsby. However his next of kin is listed as Newark. He was initially listed as missing in the casualty list dated 23-10-1915 but then confirmed as a prisoner of war in the casualty listed dated 27-12-1915. The battalion was heavily engaged at the battle of Loos in September 1915 & it is more than possible that's were he was captured?NEF & Complete with MIC & POW roll details. Along with the original paperwork as listed
