This is a very attractive - and actually quite rarely encountered! - example of a so-called: 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' (or: army anti-aircraft war-badge) being a (typical) non-maker-marked- and/or zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen as was with certainty produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Förster & Barth' as was based in the town of Pforzheim and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem hardly used- nor worn- ie. still 'virtually mint'), condition. The badge on offer here concerns a somewhat later-war-period, typical zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based specimen that retains most (ie. all!) of its (fairly shiny!) silver-coloured finish and has maintained an attractive appearance, still showing pronounced detail as to be expected. The badge - that shows the typical- and totally unaltered 'hardware' ie. pin-/pin/catch-set-up as encountered for this maker - has simply never been cleaned nor polished (and is still also a tiny bit dirty ie. stained- ie. tarnished as mentioned above). (As stated above, does it deal with a so-called: 'non-marked-marked'-pattern that naturally shows all the details as to be expected for a badge by this particular maker: these 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' by this maker are sometimes marked with the LDO-designation: 'L/21' on the back of their pin). Simply a very attractive and honest 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Förster & Barth' and that comes in an overall very nice condition: it will be very hard to upgrade this superb specimen!
