RMSP Almanzora shipping line silver ships wheel badge by Mappin & Webb

A scarce original pre 1929 period 'R.M.S.P. Almanzora ship's wheel pin brooch', fine quality example mounted to the centre with the house flag of the 'Royal Mail Steam Packet Company'; the reverse impressed 'SILVER' and with maker's details 'MN & WB' (Mappin & Webb London and Sheffield) a configuration used between between 1898 and 1929. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, actual pin an old replacement, flag with surface scratches, minor nick to surround in the 6 o'clock position.Diameter approx 28mm.
