This is an attractive - and truly detailed! - example of a greyish-silver-coloured- and/or: typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based, (political-style) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle being a detailed example that is neatly: 'RzM' and/or: 'M1/72' marked on its back and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem simply used- nor once cap-attached-), condition. These cap-eagles were intended for usage on the visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') of one of the national-socialistic- (ie. party related-) organisations. The eagle has truly great pronounced detail and retains its three typical copper-based pins ie. prongs in place (which were I deem never bent and which are of course still functional). On its back, the eagle is nicely marked with the makers'-designation: 'RzM' and/or: 'M1/72' as stated above. The piece - which is right-facing and that is just minimally-converse-shaped - has an approximate wingspan of 6,5 cms. and has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished: it is just a tiny bit stained- ie. tarnished and does show some corrosion-marks on its right outer-wing (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a nice opportunity to acquire an attractive and truly detailed 'party-style' visor-cap eagle for a competitive price!
