Description

This is a very attractive - and truly rarely seen! - female-related example of an OT- (ie. 'Organisation Todt'-) related arm-eagle (ie. 'Ärmeladler für Nachrichtenhelferinnen des OT') as was specifically intended for a: 'Nachrichtenhelferin des OT' being a neatly machine-embroidered 'variant' on darker-blue-coloured (and somewaht 'ribbed-styled') wool and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just minimally used- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat patch is executed in silverish-white-coloured linnen onto a darker-blue-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and shows a (detailed and/or neatly machine-embroidered) 'Ärmeladler' coupled with the 'OT'-characters. The non-maker-marked patch is not backed and comes as recently found and/or worn (as can be seen on the pictures). The patch shows some minimal staining simply caused by decades of storage and handling over the years. It should be noted that these interesting, 'Nachrichtenhelferinnen o. OT'-related insignia-pieces are quite difficult to encounter and can easily be graded 'rare'. I deem that I have priced this attractive: 'Abzeichen der OT-Nachrichtenhelferinnen', accordingly!
