This is an attractive - truly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed and with certainty not that often seen! - WH (Luftwaffe) officers'- (evt. NCO-) type, neatly hand-embroidered breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler fΓΌr Offiziere der Luftwaffe') that comes in an overall very nice and (I deem) just moderately used- (ie. most certainly carefully tunic-removed), condition. The piece is neatly (hand)embroidered in greyish-silver-coloured 'braid' onto a typical, bluish-grey-coloured (ie. officers'-pattern) background (and is showing some highlighted areas in somewhat differenly-styled and somewhat shiny 'braid') and comes in an overall nice condition: it is just showing some moderate age and/or wear. This example - having a length ie. 'wingspan' of approximately 8,8 cms. - is void of an additional 'backing' as is more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat - and fairly unusually seen! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-pattern breast-eagle that is with certainty accordingly priced!
