This is an attractive - and with certainty used and/or carefully tunic-removed! - example of a WH (Heeres) officers'-type, hand-embroidered- (and quite detailed!) army-type breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler fΓΌr Offiziere des Heeres') being executed in bright-silverish-coloured braid on a darker-green-coloured- and/or 'smooth'-woolen-based background and that comes in an overall nice- (and as stated above carefully tunic-removed-), condition. This example - having a length ie. 'wingspan' of approximately 10 cms. - is nicely hand-embroidered using (bright) silverish-coloured 'braid' on a darker-green-coloured (and/or woolen-based-) background and does show some 'high-lighted'-areas as executed in silverish-white-coloured thread (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle - which is void of a makers'-designation - does show minimal usage and wear as can be noticed on the pictures: it shows a neat additional 'backing' made-out of black-toned paper: moreover, does it show some clear stitching-remains (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive example of a fairly luxuriously-styled, WH (Heeres) officers'-type breast-eagle that is I deem accordingly priced!
