Heer EM M34 overseas cap, ex Nebeltruppen, constructed from slightly different shades of issue quality filed grey wool, with the top panel contrasting slightly, the lining is of putty colored flat cotton, the cap has clear stampings, size 56, maker information block and 1941 date, at one time a safety pin was used to pinch the top, the pair of ventilation grommets still have their finish, the woven light grey on dark green national emblem and the subdued national colors rosette are hand sewn, but with different threads, the soutache was neatly removed but there are traces of the former Bordeauxrot colored soutache, interior with some sweat staining, exterior exhibits light wear with the wool being free of damage, USD $550
