This is an attractive - clearly issued ie. worn! - example of a silverish-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based, WH (Heeres) ie. 'Artillerie'- (ie. artillery-) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: '2./L.Art.Ers.Abt. 23' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within the: second company of a specific 'Leichter Artillerie ErgΓ€nzungs-Abteilungs', numbered: '23') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc also shows the bearers'-blood-group-type (Type 0) something that is more often observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a German private-household were it was recently uncovered. Simply an attractive - and honest! - WH (Heeres-) ie. 'Artillerie'- (ie. specific: 'Leichter Artillerie'-) related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
