Wartime Motor Spirit ration book issued to a private car in the 10-12 HP class registered ' KML 767 '. Initially, petrol was rationed for private motoring, but by 1942, all private use was banned. Rationing continued for essential services like doctors and farmers, with the fuel often dyed to prevent misuse. This example, issued in November 1939 retains all of it's coupons and is in good condition with some creasing and a minor rip.
